Skills

Showpane skills

Use skills to create, update, preview, publish, and check portals.

Default workflow

  • Use /portal-onboard for the first run.
  • Use /portal-create when you already know what you want and do not need the wizard.
  • Preview locally before you publish.
  • External sharing starts with /portal-deploy.
  • Use /portal-share only after publish when you want a direct hosted access link.

Common sequences

First portal

showpane claude -> /portal-onboard -> local preview -> showpane login -> /portal-deploy

Repeat portal

/portal-create <slug> -> /portal-preview <slug> -> /portal-update <slug> -> /portal-deploy

External sharing

/portal-credentials <slug> -> /portal-deploy -> /portal-share <slug>

Post-publish check

/portal-deploy -> /portal-verify -> /portal-analytics [slug]

Recommended default paths

/portal-onboard
Canonical first-run workflow. Best choice when you want one guided flow from draft through hosted publish.
/portal-create <slug>
Faster repeat-user path for creating a portal from a transcript, template, or short brief.
/portal-update <slug>
Edit an existing portal after review, a new meeting, or new client materials.
/portal-deploy
Publish the current workspace to Showpane Cloud after local preview looks right.

Authoring and preview

/portal-dev
Start the local development server.
/portal-preview [slug]
Open a portal in the browser for local preview.
/portal-setup
Interactive local setup for the workspace and organization basics.
/portal-upgrade
Refresh the Showpane skill pack to the latest version.

Access and publish

/portal-credentials <slug>
Create or rotate the portal username and password used for client access.
/portal-share <slug>
Generate a hosted share link after publish. Share links are tied to the current credential version.
/portal-verify
Verify the hosted portal after publish: DNS, SSL, login flow, rendering, and tracking.

Operations

/portal-list
List all portals in the current organization.
/portal-status
Terminal dashboard for the current set of portals and their health.
/portal-analytics [slug]
Read engagement activity and recent portal analytics in the terminal.
/portal-delete <slug>
Deactivate a portal you no longer want available.

Granola support

Granola is optional. Use it when it is available. Pasting a transcript manually is still a normal path.

Cloud mental model

Skills handle local authoring. Showpane Cloud handles hosted publish, readiness, and hosted activity.
